About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced External Sales Engineer to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales targets and strategies to identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with technical and service staff to provide on-site technical and applications support to customers and prospects.
  • Manage and maintain accurate digital customer records and CRM system.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the company remains competitive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in external industrial sales, preferably in the rotating equipment industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
