Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Park House in Bedford on a part-time, permanent basis. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of our residents' presentations.

Job Responsibilities

As a Clinical Psychologist at Park House, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing assessments and clinical formulations of patients' presentations and treatment needs
  • Providing evidence-based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of patients' presentations
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of individual and group treatment programmes
  • Directing and supporting others to carry out evidence-based psychological interventions
  • Maintaining CPD of an HCPC Registered Practitioner Clinical Psychologist and ensuring competence in relation to the administration and scoring of psychological assessments and risk assessments
  • Developing and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, and carers
  • Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights

Person Specification

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with:

  • HCPC registration
  • At least two years of experience as a fully qualified Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience or an evident and demonstrable interest in neuropsychology and/or behavioural interventions
