Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult Autism Diagnostic Service in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for individuals suspected of being autistic, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement pre and post diagnostic interventions.

Main Duties
  • Provide specialist psychological assessments of service users, using complex data from various sources, including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, and structured observations.
  • Develop and implement pre and post diagnostic interventions, based on current research and best practice, to support individuals and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service, including consultation and advice on service users' psychological care.

Person Specification
  • Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology
  • Eligibility to receive Chartered Clinical Psychology status
  • Membership of a professional body
  • Evidence of relevant continued professional development
