About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Park House in Bedford on a part-time, permanent basis. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of our residents' presentations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in neuropsychology and/or behavioral interventions, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care. You will be responsible for completing assessments and clinical formulations, evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programmes, and directing and supporting others to carry out evidence-based psychological interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete assessments and clinical formulations of patients' presentations and treatment needs
  • Provide evidence-based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of patients' presentations
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of individual and group treatment programmes
  • Direct and support others to carry out evidence-based psychological interventions
  • Maintain CPD of an HCPC Registered Practitioner Clinical Psychologist and ensure competence in relation to the administration and scoring of psychological assessments and risk assessments
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, and carers
  • Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights
Requirements
  • HCPC registration
  • Have been fully qualified for at least two years
  • Experience or an evident and demonstrable interest in neuropsychology and/or behavioral interventions
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
