About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Park House in Bedford on a part-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions to support the recovery and independence of our residents.

Park House is a wheelchair-accessible facility that provides accommodation for 14 adult residents, focusing on person-centred, evidence-based rehabilitation care plans. Our location near the town centre ensures convenient access to local amenities, occupational and educational resources, as well as a plethora of social and leisure activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans to address the complex needs of our residents
  • Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy programmes to promote recovery, independence, and well-being
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement multidisciplinary care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents
  • Take personal responsibility for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, adhering to security procedures and risk assessments
  • Maintain professional development and ensure competence in relation to psychological assessments, risk assessments, and evidence-based interventions
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, visitors, and carers to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
  • At least two years of post-qualification experience in a relevant setting
  • Experience or interest in neuropsychology and/or behavioural interventions
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
