About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Training Specialist to join our team at KYN, a leading provider of care home services. As an IT Training Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our care home employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively use our technology systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Development and Delivery: Develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of our care home employees and the multiple systems they use in their roles.
  • Technology and Application Training: Provide training on multiple applications and technologies, including Kareinn resident care planning tool, Atlas our medication platform, eRoster our rostering system, Income Processing resident billing platform, CRM enquiry management tool and Radar our auditing system.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback from participants.
  • Support and Troubleshooting: Assist employees with technology-related issues, providing troubleshooting support as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with care home managers, and other departments to understand training needs and ensure alignment with company goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT training or a similar role, preferably within a healthcare or care home setting.
  • Proficiency in various software applications and technologies relevant to care home operations.
  • Strong understanding of EHR systems, care management software, and communication tools.
  • Excellent presentation and teaching skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Adaptability to changing technology and training methods.
