Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Neuropsychology Assistant to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological interventions and assessments under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Neuropsychological assessments and provide circumscribed psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist.
  • Support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the Neuropsychology Inpatient Service and CRABIS (Community Rehabilitation And Brain Injury Service) via contribution to relevant group programmes.
  • Assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, and development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.
  • Contribute to the Quality Improvement programme for the service, under supervision by conducting PDSA cycles, data analysis and input of QI project into Life QI Programme, or other QI work as directed.

Requirements

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
