**Neuropsychology Assistant Role**

This position is a key part of our community neurorehabilitation services in West Lothian and inpatient neurorehabilitation services at Astley Ainslie Hospital, Edinburgh.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to support the professional psychological care of clients within the Neuropsychology Inpatient Service and CRABIS (Community Rehabilitation And Brain Injury Service).

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to relevant group programmes, assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, and development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.

Additionally, the post holder will contribute to the Quality Improvement programme for the service, under supervision by conducting PDSA cycles, data analysis and input of QI project into Life QI Programme, or other QI work as directed.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • To provide circumscribed psychological interventions and Neuropsychological assessment under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist.
  • To support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the Neuropsychology Inpatient Service and CRABIS.

**Requirements**

  • Membership of the PVG Scheme is required for this post.
  • The ability to travel independently to carry out home visits for the community service would be an advantage but is not essential.
