About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Autism Practitioner to join our team at Baston House School in Bromley. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education support services to our students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Your primary responsibility will be to support the class teacher and/or tutor in delivering a tailored education program that meets the unique needs of each student. This will involve working closely with the teaching team to implement individualized education plans, providing one-on-one support, and promoting a positive learning environment.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will also be expected to contribute to the development and implementation of education policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with the needs of our students and the regulatory requirements of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher and/or tutor in delivering a high-quality education program for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Implement individualized education plans and provide one-on-one support to students as needed
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of education policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the teaching team to promote a positive learning environment and support the social, emotional, and academic development of students
  • Ensure that all relevant education policies and procedures are implemented in full
