Autism Practitioner/Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Autism Practitioner/Teaching Assistant to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a key member of our specialist education support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to students with Autism (ASC).
Key Responsibilities- Support the Class Teacher/Tutor: Collaborate with the class teacher/tutor to ensure the delivery of a high-quality education for all students, implementing relevant education policies and procedures.
- Provide Individualized Support: Offer relevant and appropriate support to students on an individual or group basis, enabling them to access the curriculum as independently as possible.
- Promote Student Development: Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of students, in line with company policies and procedures.
- Classroom Organization: Support the class teacher/tutor in organizing the classroom, its resources, student groupings, and displays to provide a stimulating learning environment.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Assist the teacher/tutor in writing, updating, implementing, and evaluating documentation related to individual students, including Behaviour Support Profiles, Individual Risk Assessments, Individual Education Plans, Communication Profiles, and Pastoral Support Plans.
- Qualifications: GCSE English and Maths
