Adult Autism Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Autism Practitioner to join our team at Baston House School in Bromley. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education support services to our students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Your primary responsibility will be to support the class teacher and/or tutor in delivering a tailored education program that meets the unique needs of each student. This will involve working closely with the teaching team to implement individualized education plans, providing one-on-one support, and promoting a positive learning environment.
In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will also be expected to contribute to the development of our school's policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with the needs of our students and the regulatory body.

Responsibilities- Support the class teacher and/or tutor in delivering a high-quality education program for students with ASD
- Implement individualized education plans and provide one-on-one support to students as needed
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the physical, educational, and moral development of students
- Support the class teacher and/or tutor in organizing the classroom and its resources to create a stimulating learning environment
- Assist with writing, updating, and implementing documentation related to individual student needs, including Behavior Support Profiles, Individual Risk Assessments, and Individual Education Plans
- GCSE English and Maths qualifications
