Data Entry Specialist

The Data Processor will be responsible for accurately reading and inputting relevant information from patient clinical records, hospital correspondence, and other sources into the practice computer system. This role requires strict adherence to Lister House administrative protocols, including the handling of confidential information.
Main Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Data Administration Team to ensure ongoing training and development in document management and note summarizing.
- Manage inbound correspondence, ensuring it is properly routed to the relevant recipient for action.
- Scan patient correspondence and index it to the correct patient record in the clinical system.
- Enter code-relevant information into the Practice Clinical System (SystmOne) and ensure follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner.
- Liaise with the Administration Manager and Senior Administrator to maintain up-to-date coding and data input.
- Summarize existing patient records in accordance with the Note Summarizing Protocol.
- Monitor the Practice generic email and take appropriate action in accordance with the set Protocol.
- Run reports and audits on the clinical system to ensure accurate data is provided.
- Manage task lists and take appropriate action.
- Collect and process incoming post, distributing it to the relevant staff.
- Take pride in the quality of work and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Lister House Surgery is a friendly GP Practice with over 70 years of history, led by a stable and forward-thinking partnership. We have 4 sites and over 47,000 patients across the city of Derby. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team and contribute to our ambitious goals.
This role will be based at Lister House Chellaston, with the possibility of working across other sites. A full driving license and access to a car are essential.
