About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team. As a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children, young people, and families. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children, young people, and families to identify areas of need and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to support the mental health and well-being of clients.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
  • Eligibility for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with children, young people, and families, particularly in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
