Cloud Solutions Architect

You will be instrumental in designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions supporting millions of devices worldwide. Our customers rely on these services every day, and your expertise will play a crucial role in their success.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient backend code primarily in TypeScript with some Terraform (IaC) as needed.
- Cloud Architecture: Architect, implement, test, and support high-quality cloud-based software on AWS.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug software defects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, firmware, support, and production.
- Export-level software development experience with TypeScript.
- Intermediate-level cloud infrastructure experience, preferably AWS using IaC.
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Vitest.
- Familiarity with agile development, both Kanban and Scrum.
- Some knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, Postgres, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.
- Strong debugging skills, ideally down to a network level with tools such as Wireshark.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience.
