We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Lancaster.

About the Role
  • Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Lancaster, UK
  • Job Type: Permanent, full-time
  • Shifts: 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our team at Vetro Recruitment to provide education support duties and assist the class teacher in meeting the needs of pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing the curriculum and responding to pupils' needs
  • Pick up and drop off children from the residential service and transport them to and from school
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create positive outcomes for children with learning disabilities
Requirements
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for children with learning disabilities
  • An empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
