Salary
The estimated salary for this position is £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
Job Description
As an IPS Employment Specialist with Shaw Trust, you will play a key role in our mission to create opportunities for people with disabilities and health conditions. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and community teams to deliver employment support to individuals with complex needs, using the principles of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) to help them achieve their vocational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing effective employment support plans for participants
- Working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Monitoring and evaluating participant progress against agreed outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting to stakeholders as required
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 Diploma in Employability Services Sector Qualification or equivalent experience
- Proven experience of working with individuals with complex needs, particularly those with substance use issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
