About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Welfare Specialist to join our team in Swindon. As an Advanced Social Worker, you will work with children between the ages of 0-16 who are in foster care or have plans for adoption.

Your primary responsibility will be to support these children and their families, ensuring they receive stability and the necessary skills to thrive as young adults. You will carry a complex workload, which may involve mentoring social work students and pursuing PEPS qualifications.

As a dynamic role, you will need to be creative and kind in your approach, building meaningful relationships with young people, their carers, families, and other professionals. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to improving safeguarding practices and driving forward improvements in our services.

The successful candidate will require a Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England. Our service operates a hybrid working model, with a minimum expectation of three days in the office per week. Travel, including evenings, may be required, although this will typically be planned.

Salary: £38,694 - £44,189 (dependent on experience)
