Job Overview

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Child Protection Specialist to join their team as an Emergency Duty Social Worker/Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP). This role requires dedication and experience in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct urgent child protection investigations, risk assessments, and make immediate decisions to safeguard children, including emergency care placements.
  • Prepare and submit urgent court applications, represent the Council in court proceedings, and collaborate closely with police, health, and other agencies.

Salary: Competitive salary estimated at £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.

Requirements
  • Qualified Social Work England registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in child protection or mental health.
  • Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification.
