Risk Management Specialist, High Risk Client Analysis

At Bluebayinvest, we are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a High Risk Client Management Specialist, you will be responsible for performing Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) analysis on high-risk clients to identify potential risks and mitigate them.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in AML/EDD roles and excellent research and investigation skills. They will also have strong writing skills and prior experience of writing complex and detailed reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-risk client profile analyses to identify key indicators for mitigating Anti-Money Laundering (AML), financial, regulatory, reputational, and legal risks.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure assessments are escalated where relevant, prioritized within defined timelines, in compliance with Bluebayinvest policy and procedures.
- Engage Subject Matter Experts to address material concerns involving Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABAC), Terrorist Financing, Economic Sanctions, Politically Exposed Person (PEP), Tax, and reputational risks.
- Be personally responsible and accountable for self-development and maintaining up-to-date knowledge, best practices, and skills in relevant Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and other regulatory matters.
Requirements:
- Proven track record within AML/EDD roles.
- Strong research and investigation skills, particularly with open sources and industry-leading databases.
- Excellent writing skills and prior experience of writing complex and detailed reports.
- Detailed knowledge and experience of AML client risk assessment approaches and methodologies, EDD practices, and policy development.
- Strong knowledge of the AML/CTF and ABAC legal and regulatory environment.
