**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced SEN Casework Practitioner to join our team in Wokingham. As a key member of our SEND Team, you will work closely with families, schools, and other stakeholders to coordinate support for children and young people with EHCPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the statutory process for Education, Health, and Care Needs Assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and quality standards
  • Develop, maintain, and regularly review Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring they remain accurate and reflective of individual needs and aspirations
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to identify and secure suitable educational placements
  • Act as a key point of contact for families, schools, and partner agencies, providing guidance and support on SEND-related matters
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all casework, ensuring all actions and decisions are appropriately documented and communicated

Requirements:

  • Experience of SEN casework or transferable skills from an equivalent casework role
  • Ability to keep up to date with changes in practice, legislation, and guidance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate effective support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families, schools, and other stakeholders
  • IT skills to support effective and accurate case recording and casework

Salary: £260-£300 per day (Umbrella Limited Company)
