Each year we work with over 1,300 young people aged 11-25 and our employees play a pivotal role in empowering young people and preventing homelessness.

**WHAT WOULD A STEP BY STEP PLACEMENT COORDINATOR BE DOING?**

As a Supported Lodging Placement Coordinator you will work with young people and the hosts to develop the young persons’ skills and support them to access employment and/or educational facilities, helping them achieve and maintain independence.

You will work alongside other agencies involved with the young person, assess the hosts suitability to accommodate the young person and support the recruitment of new hosts to their area.

**WHAT IS STEP BY STEP LOOKING FOR**
- Step by Step is interested in employing people with the right skills and attitude, so previous experience is not necessarily needed, but we would love to hear from you if you’ve worked or volunteered as a Social Worker, Support Worker, Youth Worker, Care Support Worker, Foster Support Worker, or Community Support Worker.
- You must have a full driving licence, appropriate motor business insurance, tax, and MOT as driving around your community area may be needed. There is a petrol allowance.
- Successful applicants are required to undergo DBS checks and must provide two references.
