Job Title: Lettings Officer

Sanctuary Group is a leading social landlord, providing around 70,000 homes across England. We are seeking a skilled Lettings Officer to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a Lettings Officer to manage the provision of housing options for our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring administrative systems are managed effectively and efficiently to support the delivery of accurate and up-to-date waiting lists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the provision of a range of housing options to help customers maximise their search for suitable accommodation
  • Administer the key management process for terminating tenancies, liaising with customers and internal teams to ensure the process is followed in a timely and effective manner
  • Respond to complaints and customer feedback to meet customer expectations, effectively communicating progress and outcomes to the customer
  • Extract and interrogate computerised information and documentation to support the delivery of high-quality housing services
Requirements
  • Experience of working with data, including inputting and updating databases
  • Experience of supporting the delivery of high-quality housing or customer services
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and customer care skills
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
