Zedwell Hotels is seeking a skilled Hotel Operations Manager to lead our front-of-house team at Zedwell Piccadilly.

As a Hotel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest service, building strong relationships, and driving operational efficiency. Your duties will include:

  • Anticipating and meeting guest needs, ensuring a personal and memorable experience.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with guests, encouraging repeat visits and loyalty.
  • Engaging with guests at every opportunity to enhance their stay.
  • Handling and resolving guest comments and complaints, ensuring effective communication with relevant department heads.
  • Relaying guest messages to the appropriate team members in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Leading by example, motivating and guiding front-of-house staff to maximize operational efficiency, including staff training, development, and performance management.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, reviewing and updating standard operating procedures as needed.
  • Liaising with the Guest Services Manager to ensure smooth handovers and completion of daily tasks.
  • Managing front desk areas, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies and maintaining par levels.
  • Overseeing the front office budget, ensuring accurate and timely finance administration.
  • Collaborating with the Housekeeping department to manage room allocations.
  • Utilizing guest history profiles to enhance personalized service.
  • Working closely with the General Manager to meet and continuously improve operational standards.

Requirements

  • A positive and motivated individual with a passion for hospitality.
  • A results-driven mindset and strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar operations management role within the hospitality industry.
  • Experience managing operations in hotels with 300+ rooms.
