Job Description

**Job Title:** Chief Engineer - Mechanical Engineering Lead

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chief Engineer to lead our mechanical engineering department in the development of innovative mission-critical mobile communication products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team to develop and maintain our range of products.
  • Oversee the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
  • Ensure all mechanical engineering projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Mentor and provide professional growth opportunities for team members.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in mechanical engineering and portable product development.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a mechanical engineering department.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and engineering software.
  • Proficient in CAD design tools 2D/3D (CREO, SolidWorks), mechanical simulation tools (ANSYS).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience with developing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting KPIs.
