We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Safety Manager to join our team at Onyx-Conseil. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and sustaining the capability of the Product Safety domain within our Submarines business.

Salary: £65,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is a key position that requires strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to work with specialist engineering teams, and a deep understanding of Product Safety principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop resource solutions, SQEP assessments, and training and development intervention requirements for Product Safety engineers.
  • Regularly engage with stakeholders within the Product Safety and other Engineering Domains.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of Product Safety capabilities across the Astute/Dreadnought and SSNA programmes.
  • Gather information from specialist engineering teams to identify areas of strategic and tactical risk.
  • Produce Capability Management plans to ensure engineering capability is sustained, developed, and managed in line with programme requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • STEM Degree or equivalent experience within a Safety or Environmental field/Capability Management.
  • Chartered status or evidence of working towards Chartership.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience.
