Job Title: Senior Explosive Safety Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Explosive Safety Expert to join our team at Onyx-Conseil. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on high-profile projects, leveraging your expertise in explosive safety engineering.

As a Senior Explosive Safety Expert, you will be responsible for completing DSEAR risk assessments and compliance activities, mentoring junior engineers, reviewing and producing explosion safety strategies, and peer reviewing work. Your skills and experience should include:

  • Experience of working in an explosion safety engineering environment and applying various methods of hazard analysis.
  • DSEAR risk assessment production including hazard identification and analysis (preferably from a high hazard industry).
  • A thorough understanding of Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and proven track record in implementing business processes to achieve strategic objectives.

You will be part of a dynamic team tasked with offering exposure to the wider strategic initiative. You will work with six people from principals to apprentices, liaising with operational managers, heads of departments as well as the Health & Safety teams.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
