About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Credit Control and Sales Ledger professional to join our Finance team at Idox plc. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the credit control and sales ledger for Emapsite, a business that has recently joined the Geospatial Division of Idox Software following acquisition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chase outstanding debts from customers and maintain accurate records
  • Complete credit checks and set up new customer accounts
  • Resolve problems regarding invoice queries and allocate payments received
  • Process and reconcile invoices, manage customer refunds, and approve credit requests
  • Conduct month-end financial reconciliations across the business and perform ad-hoc analysis as required
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external customers
  • Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to work
  • Strong Excel skills, including tables, pivot tables, and complex formulas
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in process and software
