About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Credit Control Specialist to join our Finance team at Idox plc. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the credit control and sales ledger for Emapsite, a leading provider of geospatial solutions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chase outstanding debts from customers and maintain accurate records
  • Process and reconcile invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate financial reporting
  • Conduct credit checks and set up new customer accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Resolve invoice queries and discrepancies, providing excellent customer service
  • Manage customer refunds and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Approve credit requests and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Conduct month-end financial reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and data manipulation as required by the business partner
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal colleagues and external customers
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to create complex formulas and pivot tables
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing business needs
