About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at Drax, a leading company in sustainable biomass and carbon removals. As a Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of consistent advice, guidance, and training to our Trading and Generation teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Trading and Generation teams in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including REMIT, MAR, MiFID II, EMIR, TCLC, S&P, and FSMA/RAO.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to influence and drive compliance initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on compliance matters.
  • Investigate and analyze complex data to develop and present conclusions and recommendations to senior leaders.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level with a strong understanding of wholesale physical and financial markets and energy market regulatory framework.
  • Significant experience working with commercial teams, preferably in the energy or financial services industries.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a compliance team.
