Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Engineer to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our Project Controls Team, you will play a critical role in delivering best practice solutions across various sectors, including energy, renewables, defence, rail, and utilities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work with a wide range of clients, delivering Project Controls, Planning, Analytics, and Reporting solutions. You will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, from initial planning stages to delivery, ensuring that all aspects of project controls are met.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Schedule Management: Collate progress data from multiple teams to update project/programme schedule in Primavera P6.
  2. Budget Management: Collate cost data from multiple teams to support budget requests & update cost report.
  3. Governance and Assurance: Support the Project Controls Manager on governance & assurance of Project Controls processes.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will typically hold a qualified graduate degree in a relevant discipline, with some experience in a project control environment. Your skills and qualifications should include:

  • Experience of working in a project or programme management environment, with responsibility for delivery or controls of individual projects, programmes, or portfolios.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Primavera (P6), Power BI, Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines as necessary.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
