Project Controls Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our Project Controls Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including energy, renewables, defence, rail, and utilities.
Your primary responsibility will be to collate progress data from multiple teams to update project/programme schedules in Primavera P6. You will also be responsible for collating cost data from multiple teams to support budget requests and update cost reports.
In addition, you will support the Project Controls Manager on governance and assurance of Project Controls processes. This includes ensuring that all project controls processes are followed and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of project controls concepts and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and interact with the schedule to maintain momentum towards successful project objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collating progress data from multiple teams to update project/programme schedule in Primavera P6.
- Collating cost data from multiple teams to support budget requests & update cost report.
- Supporting the Project Controls Manager on governance & assurance of Project Controls processes.
Qualifications:
- Typically, a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with some experience in a project control environment.
- Experience of working in a project or programme management environment, with responsibility for delivery or controls of individual projects, programmes, or portfolios.
- Experience using controls/general software applications such as Primavera (P6), Power BI, Microsoft Office Applications.
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines as necessary.
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts.
