About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled HR professional to join our dynamic team at Fenmarc. As a key member of our People Team, you'll play a vital role in shaping our company culture and ensuring we attract, retain, and develop the best talent in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert HR support to leaders and colleagues, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and effective employee relations.
  • Collaborate with the People Manager to develop and implement HR strategies, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in hours, absences, and pay adjustments.
  • Lead the charge on recruitment and onboarding, from candidate screening to site inductions.
  • Maintain electronic personal files, ensuring GDPR compliance and audit readiness.
  • Process starters, leavers, and colleague updates, ensuring timely and accurate HR administration.
  • Deliver essential HR training, collaborating with the People and Training Managers to drive employee engagement and development.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced HR team.
  • Experience in manufacturing or food production, with knowledge of SEDEX, is highly desirable.
  • Audit expertise, particularly in BRC, Ethical Audits, or Agency Labour Practices, is a significant advantage.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Proficiency in T&A and HR Systems, particularly Mitrefinch, is a plus.
  • Data-driven with a keen eye for detail, you'll drive HR initiatives and shape the company agenda.
  • Multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
