Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient service by greeting patients, answering phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage patient flow by coordinating appointments, managing waitlists, and ensuring that patients are seen in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records by entering patient information, updating medical histories, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.
- Process patient payments by handling cash, credit card transactions, and insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with dental team members to ensure that patients receive seamless and comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Previous front desk experience in a medical or dental setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in dental software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
