Audit Assistant Manager

At Pro Talent, we are seeking an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in Cambridge. This is a challenging and rewarding role with excellent opportunities for progression.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified individual to take the next step in their career and make a significant impact at our accountancy firm. As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading onsite audit teams, supervising junior staff members, and liaising with client finance teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to create a positive impression with clients and staff. A highly commercial approach and strong IT skills are also essential for this role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in leading onsite audit teams and supervising junior team members
  • Review financial statements and prepare audit reporting for presentation to those charged with governance
  • Attend planning and clearance meetings, ensure assurance quality and compliance with firm's procedures

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA Qualified with 2-4 years PQE in practice, at least 6 years UK practice experience
  • Previous experience operating at Audit Supervisor level, producing high quality audits
  • Excellent client relationship skills and a proactive approach

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience.
