Senior Design Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to join our team at Velocity Recruitment. As a Senior Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing proposals, producing and negotiating project-specific designer agreements, and ensuring the project design is reviewed and mitigating Health & Safety issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Proposal Management: Manage the proposals to ensure they are accurate and meet the client's requirements.
  2. Design Agreement: Produce and negotiate the project-specific designer agreements scope of works and the design management plan, ensuring they are agreed and fully understood by all parties.
  3. Design Review: Ensure the project design is reviewed, mitigating Health & Safety issues.
  4. Design Programme: Produce & manage a realistic design programme & information required schedule satisfying design, procurement & construction requirements.
  5. Design Team: Provide input into the design team PDR's.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Support the implementation of Continuous Improvement programmes and innovation.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working as a Senior Design Manager, with a strong understanding of design management principles and practices. You will also need to have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
