Senior Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to join our team at Mace. As a key member of our design management team, you will be responsible for leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and compliance standards for the design resources you manage.
Key Responsibilities- Advocate for Mace's value of Safety First and lead exceptional safety standards.
- Manage relationships with key senior stakeholders and lead the delivery of design management to deliver key strategic outcomes and sub-function KPIs.
- Implement and execute the design management system, processes, and protocols to meet statutory, legal, and contractual requirements.
- Mentor, coach, and develop project teams and provide an environment to share knowledge and experience.
- Membership of RIBA, MICE, CIBSE, CIOB, RICS, CIAT, or equivalent professional or personal development.
- Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the Life Science sector.
- Deep construction and consultancy expertise.
- Knowledge of Building Safety legislation, Building standards, construction contracts, professional appointments, and Health & Safety legislation.
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
- Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
