We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a College Liaison Officer. This role will provide a professional, positive, and efficient customer experience for all users of the Fire Service College, ensuring safe use of the site and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Instructional Staff: Provide excellent customer service to training delegates, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the link between The Fire Service College and clients and international delegates when they are using the site, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Operations Support: Provide support to the department and assist in any daily tasks required to support the management and organization of the FSC, including following the Health & Safety Policy and ensuring compliance.
- Risk Management: Ensure safe practices and risk assessments are being followed within the grounds of the FSC, and make sure any accidents and near misses are dealt with correctly and recorded within the safety management system.
- Facilities Management: Carry out building safety inspections and ensure that equipment and vehicles are used correctly whilst on FSC grounds.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including day, evening, night, or weekends, depending on the need.
- IT Literacy: Possess a good level of general IT literacy.
- Health and Safety: Experience or knowledge of undertaking or monitoring of health and safety activities and practices to ensure compliance within a fire and rescue sector would be beneficial.
- Customer Service: Provision of consistently high standards of customer service.
- Training Environment: Experience of working in a training environment or worked in the Fire Service would be beneficial.
- Valid Driving License: Possess a valid driving license.
The Fire Service College is a leading organization for fire prevention and protection and response, providing assessed, accredited, and assured fire and multi-service training for emergency service professionals globally.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £24,000, 23 days' holiday (rising to 27), and a range of benefits, including a company-matched pension, life assurance, a cycle-to-work scheme, and 15 weeks' fully paid maternity, adoption, and shared parental leave.
