Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, ensuring seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Supporting clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
- Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, responsible for shift handovers and ensuring a smooth transition of care.
- Helping with training and supervision of new staff members, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams, such as GPs and District Nurses.
- Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties, prioritising their dignity and well-being.
Requirements:
- NVQ3 in care or working towards, with a passion for delivering exceptional care and making a real difference in people's lives.
- Motivated, positive, and excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a close-knit team.
- Previous experience in the role, with a deep understanding of its rewards and challenges, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
