**Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Support Role**

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Teaching Assistant to work in our SEND schools in Southport and surrounding areas. As a Support Staff Member, you will provide invaluable assistance to students with special educational needs and disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in SEND settings, although this is not a requirement. A passion for supporting students with additional needs and ability to build positive relationships with staff and students are essential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide support to students with SEND on a day-to-day supply basis
  • Assist with classroom activities, both 1:1 and in small groups
  • Help create a positive learning environment for all students
  • Support teachers in managing behaviour and ensuring student engagement

  • Ability to build positive relationships with staff and students
  • A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
