About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Worker to join our team at We Are With You. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people who are experiencing difficulties with substance misuse and mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with young people in a 1:1 or group setting to provide support and guidance.
  • Develop and implement care plans to address the needs of young people.
  • Provide education and training to young people to help them understand the implications of their situations and make informed decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to safeguard young people and provide a comprehensive support package.
Requirements
  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with young people in a 1:1 or group setting.
  • Experience of working with young people with substance misuse and/or mental health difficulties.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work effectively with a range of people.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
