Quantum and Advanced Materials Coordinator and Business Developer

Job Summary
The University of Cambridge seeks a highly skilled Quantum and Advanced Materials Coordinator and Business Developer to join its team. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating collaboration across disciplines, improving the University's visibility, and coordinating large strategic grants.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the SRI Co-Chairs and Steering Committee to develop the ongoing strategy for the initiative.
- Manage the SRI team to implement and deliver required activities.
- Grow and manage relations with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate business needs and market drivers from industry.
Requirements
- PhD level qualification in a scientific or technical subject relevant to the role's remit.
- Experience in dealing with new product and/or process development for industry.
- Previous exposure to company dynamics and the capability to bridge the gap between research and business goals.
Working Arrangements
The successful applicant will be based in West Cambridge and will be expected to spend part of their time in the departments and centers supporting the SRI initiative.
