Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our team at MERJE. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting. You will lead and deliver end-to-end internal audits, focusing on financial controls and IFRS application.

The successful candidate will be able to evaluate the group's financial controls across all entities and business processes, providing high-quality assurance that financial reporting is accurate and reliable.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Hybrid working arrangements available.

About the Role
As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for leading and delivering internal audits and investigations across the business. You will evaluate design adequacy and operating effectiveness of financial controls and provide high-quality internal audit reports to management and the Audit Committee. Additionally, you will follow up on agreed management actions and stay updated with financial reporting standards and industry best practices.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in internal auditing, preferably in the FMCG industry. You should have a strong understanding of financial controls, IFRS application, and financial reporting standards. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
