Learning Disability Physiotherapist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our team in Liverpool, working with individuals with learning disabilities. The successful candidate will be committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and have a passion for working with this population.

The role involves working across various community teams, including North, Central, South, Neuro, Rehab at Home, Care homes, and Falls. This will enable the successful candidate to develop skills and flourish within their career.

We are a supportive team that works closely with occupational therapy colleagues. The post holder will provide leadership for junior staff through supervision and appraisal, participate in planning, development, and evaluation of services provided, and hold responsibility for defined service improvement projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with therapy experience and skills to join our team. We offer specialist inpatient and community services that support physical and mental health, as well as specialist inpatient mental health, learning disability, addiction, and brain injury services.

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a physiotherapist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities
