Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Night Senior Support Worker. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact in their lives.

About the Role

This position involves providing high-quality care and support to young males aged 13-18 years, enabling them to reach their full potential and develop important life skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth running of the home, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the development of effective policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the care and welfare of each child in the home, addressing their developmental needs and promoting their well-being.
  • Plan and prepare activities that meet the young people's needs and stimulate their learning and integration within the home.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislation, guidelines, and policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support and lead all Residential Support Workers, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with teenage boys or challenging behavior and a willingness to develop skills further.
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the rural location.
  • Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, or willingness to work towards required qualification.
Estimated Salary

£28,621.56 per annum (base salary) plus sleep-in enhancements.
