About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring teaching assistant to join our team in a primary or secondary school in Newcastle. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.

  • Support students in achieving their academic, personal, and social goals
  • Assist the class teacher with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons
  • Provide individualized support to students as needed
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or in an educational setting (preferable)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow teacher guidance
  • Desirable: relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare
