Job Summary

Redstone Search Group is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development of our precious metals business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational management of our precious metals division.

About the Role

The Head of Precious Metals will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing a global strategy for the precious metals business, aligning with our company's overall goals.
  • Building and leading a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Overseeing trading and marketing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to establish global precious metal operations and logistics processes.
  • Driving business development initiatives to expand market share and increase profitability.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
  • Providing thought leadership and insights into the precious metals market, representing our company at industry events and conferences.
  • Managing budgets and forecasts for the division.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the precious metals industry, with a strong track record in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of precious metals trading, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful business strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Ability to make strategic decisions to solve short-term and longer-term challenges.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and market analysis tools.
  • Located in the UK with the right to work.
