Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Manage a High-Performing Team: Build, lead, and manage a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Oversee Trading and Marketing Activities: Oversee all trading and marketing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Establish Global Operations and Logistics: Work closely with internal departments to establish global precious metal operations and logistics processes.
  • Drive Business Development Initiatives: Develop and execute business development initiatives to expand market share and increase profitability.
  • Build and Maintain Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and senior management, providing regular updates on business performance and strategy.
  • Provide Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership and insights into the precious metals market, representing the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Manage Budgets and Forecasts: Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts for the division.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 Years' Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience within the precious metals industry, with a strong track record in a leadership role.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of precious metals trading, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to develop and execute successful business strategies, with excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: Ability to make strategic decisions to solve short-term and longer-term challenges.
  • Emotional Intelligence: High emotional intelligence, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Communication and Presentation: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Financial Modelling and Analysis: Proficiency in financial modelling and market analysis tools.
  • Location: Located in the UK, with the right to work in the country.
