About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support our client living with a spinal injury. The ideal candidate will be able to provide personal care, complex moving and handling, medication administration, meal preparation, and basic household chores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to our client, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with complex moving and handling using a hoist, ensuring the client's safety and comfort
  • Administer medication as required, following the client's care plan
  • Cook meals from scratch, taking into account the client's dietary needs and preferences
  • Perform basic household chores, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Drive the client's Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) to access the local community

Requirements:

  • Previous care experience, particularly in complex care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic household chores
  • Full UK driving licence
