Role Overview:

We are seeking a High Voltage Shift Leader with extensive knowledge of Critical Facilities/Data Centre infrastructure (Electrical, Mechanical, DC specific). You will lead engineering shift teams in the inspection, operation, and maintenance of Data Centre assets, focusing on risk management and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and Maintain M&E Systems: Ensure compliance with safety and energy efficiency standards.
  2. Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Manage Specialist Subcontractors.
  3. Authorised Person: Issue permits to work (PTW) for 11kV Electrical Systems.
  4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work orders and participate in team/client meetings.
  5. QHSE Compliance: Promote QHSE compliance and manage planned maintenance tasks.

Personal Specification:

  1. Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Centre or Critical Environment operations.
  2. Qualifications: HV Authorised Person qualification and HNC/HND in a relevant field or equivalent.
  3. Communication Skills: Strong communication, IT, and report-writing skills.
  4. Leadership: Ability to lead a team under pressure and a commitment to operational excellence.
  5. Flexibility: Willingness to attend training on-site and off-site, with overnight stays as required.
