Security Officer

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at Semper Security UK Ltd. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment at Arena Shopping Park.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and tenants
- Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre to identify and prevent potential security risks
- Manage incidents in accordance with site policies and procedures
- Liaise with the site control room to respond to incidents and emergencies
- Monitor and report any unsecure areas or suspicious activity
- Deal with emergencies efficiently and effectively
- Monitor and log incidents in line with site and company policies
- Maintain vigilance and report any unauthorized access by banned individuals
- Ensure radio procedures are followed at all times
- Record all events and incidents in the DOB book correctly
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business
Requirements:
- SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay: Up to £11.50 per hour
Expected Hours: No more than 40 per week
